Edmonton’s urban forest is one of our city’s greatest natural treasures, spanning thousands of hectares across the river valley, vibrant community parks, and tree-lined boulevards. As a Labourer II in Urban Forestry Tree Care, you will play an essential frontline role in preserving, maintaining, and protecting this magnificent canopy for everyone to enjoy. Working alongside skilled, ISA certified Arborists, Developmental Arborists and Equipment Operators, your daily efforts will directly enhance public safety and tree health through proactive maintenance, pruning, chipping, and storm response.
Every shift brings dynamic, hands-on teamwork in Edmonton’s great outdoors, from caring for historic neighbourhood trees to maintaining open parklands. If you thrive in active outdoor work, take pride in operating equipment safely, and want to make a lasting, visible impact on our urban landscape, we invite you to grow your career with us.
