JibberJobBot

JibberJobBot is the crawler behind JibberJob, a job search site for Alberta and BC. It reads public job listings on employers’ own careers sites so job seekers can find them in one place - with a link straight back to apply with you.

How it behaves

• It identifies itself as JibberJobBot/1.0 with a link to this page.
• It follows robots.txt. Anything you disallow, it skips.
• It visits a few times a day, with at most three requests to your site at once.
• It only reads public job listings. It never logs in, submits forms or applies to anything.

Opting out

Add this to your robots.txt and JibberJobBot will stop reading your site on its next visit:

Disallow: /
