In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and analytical solutions that drive innovation and strategic decision-making across the organization. You’ll be working to develop new and extend existing applications in the RBC Commercial and Small business portfolio. </p><br /><p><b>WHAT WILL YOU DO?</b></p><ul><li>Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.

</li><li>Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to address specific business problems.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., data engineers, product managers, business stakeholders) to translate requirements into actionable insights.</li><li>Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences through clear visualizations and reports.

</li><li>Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with RBC’s data governance standards.</li><li>Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve analytical capabilities.</li></ul><br /><p><b>WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?</b></p><p><b>Must have:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

</li><li>3+ years in data science, machine learning, or a similar role.</li><li>Proficiency in programming languages (Python, R, SQL) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).</li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities, statistical knowledge, and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).</li></ul><br /><p><b>Nice-to-have</b>: </p><ul><li>Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an asset.
