Job Description: The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) / Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) is responsible to respond to the emergent and non-emergent calls for service and for providing Advanced Life Support, initial assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons in accordance with the Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations, Emergency Health Services Basic and Advance Life Support Protocols, and Saskatchewan Health Authority Policies. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Licenses

Valid Class 4 driver's license

Other Education and Training

International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)

Pre-Hospital Care Program - Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Level

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Level C Certificate (CPR)

Other Information

Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level
