This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-pai d position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work

Potential locations for Saskatchewan: Allan, Cory, Patience Lake, Vanscoy, Lanigan, Saskatoon and Rocanville

Term (16 months): Dates can be adjusted/extended to coincide with school terms.

Spring 2027 - May 3, 2027 - August 25, 2028

What you will do

Conduct electrical and instrumentation field checks

Assist in the development of mine management monitoring

Assist in planning and preventative maintenance

Generate engineering documents such a datasheets and drawings

Complete low and high voltage power distribution drawing and data management

Arc Flash data collection, entry into ETAP and equipment labeling

Develop electrical controls and automation solutions

What you will bring

Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 2 years of an undergraduate Electrical Engineering program (or equivalent) at an accredited post-secondary institution AND returning to full-time studies after the work term

Demonstrated positive safety behaviour and safety leadership

Willingness to learn and gain knowledge and experience through training

Excellent interpersonal teamwork and communication skills

Motivation to set and achieve goals, take initiative, and nurture projects forward

Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
