Identifying new opportunities and helping to grow the business will be a key and exciting part of your role.</span></span></p><br /><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><b><span style="font-size:inherit">What will you do?</span></b></span></p><ul><li>Assists customers in the development of investment strategies and selecting the best products to support such strategies.</li><li>Supports cross-sells of banking services and counsels customers on financial matters and investment instruments.

</li><li>Expands existing relationships and develops new customer relationships through prospecting, networking, and referrals.</li><li>Establishes individual financial plans and helps customers build investment portfolios, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc. based on financial needs and objectives.</li><li><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span style="font-size:inherit">Manage client relationships by preparing for and leading meetings, effectively responding to client account inquiries and taking ownership of follow-ups.

</span></span></li><li><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span style="font-size:inherit">Help build and execute business plans, Wealth Management objectives and client service plans.</span></span></li><li><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span style="font-size:inherit">Nurture and manage valuable relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and RBC partners.</span></span></li><li><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span style="font-size:inherit">Conduct ongoing research on markets and investments and provide regular updates to the advisory team.

</span></span></li><li><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span style="font-size:inherit">Execute on the team’s formal business development strategy and identify opportunities for asset consolidation and referrals across the existing client base.</span></span></li></ul><br /><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><b><span style="font-size:inherit">What do you need to succeed?</span></b></span></p><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><b><span style="font-size:inherit">Must Have</span></b></span></p><ul><li>Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE and the Retail Securities Exam RSE.

</li><li>Investment management experience and capabilities</li><li>Must have minimum of 5 years relative industry experience managing portfolios and clients</li><li><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span style="font-size:inherit">Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English</span></span></li><li><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span style="font-size:inherit">Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite</span></span></li></ul><br /><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><b><span style="font-size:inherit">Nice to Have</span></b></span></p><ul><li>Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) an asset</li><li><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span style="font-size:inherit">4 years or more of professional experience within the investment industry</span></span></li><li><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span style="font-size:inherit">Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills</span></span></li><li><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span style="font-size:inherit">Highly developed client service skills</span></span></li></ul><br /><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span style="font-size:inherit">​</span><b><span style="font-size:inherit">What’s in it for you?
